KITME 2025: A New Era for Kazakhstan's Textile Industry – Time for Growth and Innovation
Kazakhstan is preparing for an important event in the world of light industry! For the first time in the country, the 1st Kazakhstan International Exhibition "Textile Industry Products and Equipment" KITME 2025 will take place, becoming the central platform for showcasing the latest achievements and technologies in the textile industry.
The key event for representatives of the textile and light industry of Kazakhstan, as well as neighboring and distant foreign countries, includes the following sections:

• Woven and nonwoven materials;
• Fabrics and accessories;

• Leather and footwear industry.

The relevance of holding the exhibition is also indicated by the state of the industry: its development and prospects. The light industry in Kazakhstan is showing steady growth. In 2023, the production volume reached 237.4 billion tenge, which is 22.9% higher than in 2022. Textile product production grew by 18.3%, with the most impressive growth observed in the production of the following goods:
• Pile, terry, and special fabrics — a 7.1-fold increase;
• Nonwoven materials and products made from them — a 4.7-fold increase;
• Yarn and cotton sewing threads — a 2.4-fold increase.
These figures confirm the significant potential of the industry and highlight the importance of specialized events.
